Default Does server location matters?

Greetings:

I would have expected the above type answer back in the early 1990's when there was a gross misunderstanding of how the Internet worked <grin>.

If the infrastructure is good, and the provider is off the Internet back bone (tier one provider), then location does not matter.

Our parent company is international. The servers are located in the states of NJ and VA. Clients have tested speeds from Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, throughout the U.S., and there are only good reports.

The web site link speaks of a significant difference between 80 milliseconds and 120 milliseconds. We are generally talking milliseconds. Something that most human beings cannot notice or count unless they are large enough to become seconds ;-)

Thank you.
